Conveniently located just outside of Hastings next to Farmers Transport, along the same road as Ballance Agri-Nutrients, behind Cottages New Zealand.
PRICING:-
Manual charges at present:- $100 + GST Truck and Trailer
Auto charging to come.
Future charges will be based on water usage.
WASTE WATER TREATMENT:-
Effluent is passed through a 40m2 Solids Separation unit. The waste solids remain behind in collection tanks while the liquid effluent is stored in a 2500m2 oxidation pond. Here a natural evaporation takes place and nitrogen is dissipated from the pond with air movement. When the pond reaches a certain level a discharge pump is activated and sprinklers are activated in certain zones of a Pinus Radiata plantation.
All discharge rates are monitored and meet the Regional Council permitted discharge rates.
